COURSE & CORE COMPETENCIES: COMPARATIVE ECONOMIC SYSTEMS ECON 3305 A survey of historical and contemporary methods of organizing a society’s economic activity. The basic nature and ideology of capitalism and socialism are examined through case studies. Special attention is given to the current US, Soviet, Chinese and Japanese economies.
